If you are looking to book something really interesting then perhaps Japanese origami is the workshop for you. This workshop is both culturally significant for Asian studies and interesting. This is an amazing workshop that will leave the participants amazed at what can be achieved.
Of all the crafts activities we do, this is the most interesting. Our artist has been doing this for decades. All workshops begin with an explanation of its origin in Japan before teaching and demonstrating. With children keeping what they make, it is especially fun.
Japanese origami is our most popular crafts workshop. This activity is booked and re-booked continually. This is another diverse and bespoke workshop. Origami can be simple or difficult and complicated, and workshops are made suitable for the age of the participants. They are enjoyed by young children, teenagers and even adults.
Origami began in 17th century Japan and has become popular across the globe. The word origami derives from the Japanese word or meaning ‘folding’ with kami meaning ‘paper’. Through folding special Japanese thin paper, numerous, seemingly never ending designs can be created. These range from the traditional cranes, to frogs, varied animals and even shoes.
The facilitators are Japanese ladies; they are experts in origami and with decades of experience in creating wonderful origami… Children, young people and adults enjoy Japanese origami workshops.
This workshop is versatile and is a really special workshop. It has worked with primary school children, secondary and independent school children, in preparatory schools, youth clubs, children’s events and party’s for both children and adults.
These workshops are great for schools, events and cultural activities weeks. Nugent Education Limited highly recommends this Japanese origami workshop. The consistent and ongoing great feedback, available on our feedback web-pages testimony to its popularity so we highly recommend this workshop.
